Bike sharing

BiTS is the bike-sharing service offered by the Municipality of Trieste, accessible an app with a rechargeable subscription. To rent a bike, simply open the map, find the nearest bike station, and start your rental directly through the app.

If you're using the glimble FVG, you can enjoy an extra advantage: the ability to book your bike in advance before arriving at the station. 

The fee for using the service is €0.50 for the first 30 minutes. After the first 30 minutes, a charge of €1.00 applies for every additional half hour. However, if you return the bicycle within 5 minutes, the rental is free, and no charges will be incurred. 

This bike-sharing service is available to all users aged 16 years and older. 

Please note that the bike-sharing service does not provide insurance coverage for users or for any damage to persons or property that may occur during use.
